MP's and business leaders from across the region will meet the Transport Minister to ask for millions of pounds to be spent improving the A47.
A report backed by local businesses says dualling would bring huge economic benefits and up to 10,000 jobs.
Dualling the whole of the A47 would cut the journey time from Peterborough to Yarmouth by 30 minutes but rather than dual the entire 105 mile length the plans focus on the pinch points instead.
Starting at Peterborough the plans include dualling the junction with the A47 and A1. East Winch and Middleton will be bypassed. The Easton and North Tuddenham stretch will be dualled, as will Blofield to Burlingham. Improvements will also be made to the Vauxhall roundabout in Great Yarmouth.
