Santa, snow and reindeer for town's Christmas switch-on
Hundreds of people braved atrocious weekend weather to join Santa and a couple of his reindeer at the switch-on of the Christmas lights in Wellingborough on Saturday.
Snow cannons brought a blast of snow over Market Street and a firework display lit up the skies as the town centre lights were switched on by Mayor of Wellingborough Ken Harrington and competition winner 4-year-old Emily Sivers.
