Norwich's former fire station is to become a free school specialising in maths and science.

The station in Bethel Street near the city centre will be used by The Sir Isaac Newton Maths and Science Sixth form free school.

A hundred pupils aged between 16 and 19 will be taught there from next September. The aim is to send students from Norfolk onto the best universities.
