Triathlon champion Chrissie Wellington has announced she's retiring from the sport. The 35 year old, from Feltwell in Norfolk, made the announcement on her website this morning.
Wellington only turned professional in 2007, being crowned World Ironman Champion four times in five years. She now plans to concentrate on ambassadorial and charity work.
