Icy patches initially as a band of rain and snow clears south. Sunny intervals developing, the best of these in the west, but feeling cold with a northwesterly breeze. Further wintry showers affecting eastern parts, with snow accumulating in places. Maximum temperature 4°C.

Wintry showers in the east will gradually clear to leave clear skies allowing a sharp frost to form overnight. Icy patches likely too, especially on untreated surfaces. Minimum temperature -4°C.
