The family of a man who died when his plane came down at Aldham, near Hadleigh, have left flowers at the scene. The light aircraft has been recovered by air accident investigators. Police say the pilot has not yet been formally identified.
The AAIB will carry out an investigation to establish the cause of the crash together with the assistance and support of Suffolk Police in order to prepare a file for the Coroner.
The cordoned area and road closures remain in place in Aldham but are likely to be lifted this afternoon.
