Olympic gold medal winner Etienne Stott has been made a Freeman of the Borough of Bedford.
Stott and partner Tim Bailie won gold in the C2 Canoe Slalom at the London 2012 Olympics.
Stott grew up in Bedford and learned to canoe on the River Great Ouse as a member of Bedford Canoe Club.
