New signing for Ipswich Town
Ipswich Town have completed the signing of defender Tyrone Mings from non league club Chippenham Town.
The 19 year old former Southampton trainee, who's 6’3” is equally capable of playing as a left-back or at centre-half
Town boss Mick McCarthy confirmed his interest in the defender at his pre-match news conference ahead of the their trip to Leeds United. He'd watched Mings during a friendly with the Nike U21 team on Monday.
This afternoon the Southern League club announced on Twitter....'@tyronemings1 has now signed for Ipswich Town, we wish him all the best for the rest of his career and thank him for his work this season'.
