Police investigating the theft of a million pounds from a security van in Suffolk almost 20 years ago have arrested two women in Sussex.
Eddie Maher, who's 57, was arrested in February this year in Ozark, Missouri, USA.
He had been wanted for questioning since the Securicor van he was driving was stolen from outside a branch of Lloyds bank in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, in 1993.
Detectives say a 47 year old and a 64 year old woman have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal and assisting an offender.
Maher, formerly of South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, denies theft and has been remanded in custody until his trial next year.
