Tighter controls to reduce the spread of tuberculosis in cattle have been introduced in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

Cows there will now be tested for the disease annually.

Bovine TB led to the slaughter of 26,000 cattle in England last year - mainly in the Midlands and west of the country.
