The government has issued guidelines advising councils to try and remove "unnecessary clutter" in cities and rural areas. The Department for Transport has said "less is more" when it come to road signs and that they should only be put up when they are really needed.
Do you like seeing lots of road signs telling you what to do or do you think they are confusing for road users? Is it right for the government to say they should be used sparingly?
Send us your pictures of interesting signs to firstname.lastname@example.org and they may appear on ITV Anglia tonight at 6pm!
