A 13-year-old girl who died in a crash involving a vehicle that was being pursued by police has been named by her school.
Wiktoria Was was travelling with her mother, father and 4-year-old brother on Sunday evening when their Volkswagen Polo collided with a Peugeot 308.
The crash took place in Ilderton Road, south Bermondsey, and Wiktoria, who was in the rear of the car, died at the scene.
Her parents and brother were taken to hospital, and the mother and boy were later discharged.
The father remains in hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
32-year-old Devon Newell has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, and driving with no insurance and no licence.
