Vandals could have been responsible for an incident in which a driver drove over a cyclist bridge in Cambridge.
Cambridgeshire County Council says a bollard had been taken from the Rustat Road end of the bridge, allowing a man to mistakenly drive over it in his Jaguar.
He was forced to reverse the whole way back. The bollard has since been replaced.
