Former restaurant to be developed

The redevelopment of the site of a former Chinese restaurant has been given the green light today, paving the way for the creation of three new businesses and around 80 new jobs.

The redevelopment has been given the seal of approval by South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee.

A McDonalds, a Costa Coffee and a Subway sandwich shop will now be built on the site of the former Yim Wah restaurant at Caxton Gibbet on the A421, which burned down in 2009.
