Pot Hole hit squad celebrates anniversary
Bedford Borough Council's Pot Hole Hit Squads are celebrating their second birthday as new figures show 7,500 pot holes have been repaired since the initiative started.
The service was launched in January 2011 to provide quick but permanent repairs to potholes in the borough.
The hit squads carry special equipment that allows them to keep tar hot while on the move.
