Unemployment in the East of England has risen bucking the national downward trend. The latest figures show 207,000 people out of work in the East of England. That's a rise of 1,000 compared to the previous quarter.
In the East Midlands, which includes Northamptonshire, unemployment was up by 10,000 to 190,000.
Nationally unemployment fell by 37,000 between September and November to 2.49 million.
