A woman in her 50s has died after a head on collision on the B1145 near King's Lynn this morning. The air ambulance was called in, but she died at the scene. An elderly couple in their 70s sustained minor injuries. The collision happened just before 11.30 on the Gayton Road at Bawsey.
Four rapid response vehicles, two ambulances, a paramedic car and the East Anglian Air Ambulance all attended the scene, as did the Norfolk police and fire service.
The B1145 is currently closed in both directions between the A149 Queen Elizabeth Way / A1076 Gayton Road / Station Road (Queen Elizabeth Roundabout, King's Lynn) and B1153 (Gayton).
