A14 Fatal Collision - Teenager Named

One of the teenagers who died as a result of a collision on the A14 last night, has been named as 19 year old Adam Weller from Hereward Way, Weeting in Norfolk. Adam died at the scene. The passenger of the car, a 16 year old boy died in hospital this morning.

The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 at Bury St Edmunds at around 8.55pm. Two vehicles were seen travelling along the road, a silver BMW and a red Ford Fiesta. The BMW left the carriageway and collided with a tree.

The two teenagers who died were in the BMW. The driver of the Ford Fiesta has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
