Ipswich Town striker Michael Chopra has been banned from racecourses for ten years after he was found to have breached the rules after a British Horseracing Authority investigation.
Chopra was found in breach of committing corrupt and fraudulent practices and offering a bribe. He was one nine people charged with various offences. Earlier this month Chopra announced he couldn't afford to defend himself during the inquiry.
He won't be able to attend any licensed racing premises for the period of his ban.
