Body found in search for missing man
Police searching for a Luton man missing since a Christmas party in Essex have found a body. Thirty eight year old Edward Gillespie disappeared after attending an event at the Royden Marina Hotel near Harlow on December 22nd.
Yesterday a member of the public alerted officers about a body in the nearby marina. It has been taken to a hospital but so far there has been no formal identification. However the police say they have suspended the search for Mr Gillespie.
