Bike thief used Ebay to sell stolen cycles
A cycle thief in Cambridge sold stolen bikes on Ebay then spent the cash on lavish holidays.
Unemployed Carl James pocketed more than £15,000 selling bicycles online from his home in Haymarket Road.
Officers seized a number of bikes from his home when they carried out a warrant in April.
He denied 10 counts of converting criminal property but was convicted following a week-long trial at Cambridge Crown Court.
He's been sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment, suspended for two years, given a 12-month supervision order and ordered to carry out 250 hours' unpaid work.
