World record for Britain's oldest pancake race

Hundreds of people watched the traditional Onley pancake race near Milton Keynes today. The annual race first started in 1445.

The winner was 18-year-old Devon Burn setting a new world record time.

Pancake Day in the Anglia region

Shrove Tuesday is the day before the start of Lent in the Christian calendar when traditional pancakes are made. The Anglia region is home to the world's oldest pancake race.
