Campaign highlights plight of cancer patients

Now being told that you have cancer can be devastating particularly if you then have to face the future alone.

The Charity Macmillan Cancer Support has revealed as many as one in 3 of the nearly 30,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients in the east of England lack support from family and friends during their treatment and recovery and have just launched a video campaign to highlight the problem.

Right across the country individuals are giving their backing to the campaign and telling their story in the process. Here in the east Anna Beckingham from the Charity Keeping Abreast, based in the region, is featured in a new video campaign for Macmillan.
