Tenerife beheading "killer" in court

A homeless Bulgarian goes on trial today accused of beheading a grandmother from Norfolk in a supermarket in Tenerife two years ago.

Jennifer Mills-Westley, 60, was a retired road safety officer from Norwich.

Deyan Deyanov, 29, is alleged to have stabbed her 14 times with a knife before decapitating her. Mrs Mills-Wesley's two daughters will attend the trial which is expected to last a week. Eight armed officers will be assigned to guard the defendant.
