Two rival groups are holding demonstrations in Cambridge city centre.
Members of The English Defence League have gathered at Christ's Pieces. The group, which describes itself as anti militant Islam, is opposing plans to build a new mosque off Mill Road in the city.
According to police hundreds of people have turned up for a counter demonstration organised by Unite Against Fascism, as shown in the video below.
More than 400 officers from six of our region's forces are policing the protests. Cambridgeshire Police say that they are monitoring CCTV, and will take action against anyone who breaks the law.
