Police say operation to control protests a success

Police say their operation to control demonstrations in Cambridge yesterday was a success.

More than 400 officers were on duty as 500 counter demonstrators turned out to oppose a gathering of around 30 protestors from the English Defence League.

Four people were arrested afterwards for public order offences.
