Knifepoint robbery in Ipswich

A man has been left with cuts and bruises after being robbed at knifepoint in Ipswich over the weekend.

It happened at approximately 6am in Plover Road on Saturday 2 March.

A 34-year-old man was walking to the bus stop when he was assaulted by three men, one of whom held a knife towards him.

They demanded his property and the victim handed over an amount of cash.

All three are described as being in their 'late teens' and were wearing hooded tops.

The first offender is described as white, approximately 5'8" to 5'10" tall, of a muscular build, a 2-3cm scar on his cheek and dark short hair.

The second offender is described as a black man, approximately 6 foot tall, of a large build and was wearing a black hooded top with a green logo on.

The third offender is described as a black man, approximately 6'3" tall and of a slim build.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
