Police have named the victim of a murder in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire.
The body of Thomas Baird, 63, was found after a fire at his home in Westerdale at the weekend.
Mr Baird died of trauma to the head and neck, and stab wounds to the chest.
A 30-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead remains in custody having been arrested on Saturday on suspicion of murder.
