A Flood Warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for the tidal River Waveney from Ellingham to Breydon Water. The forecast high tide at Great Yarmouth is at 9:27 pm on 12 March 2013.
Locations are affected in Ellingham to Breydon Water including Geldeston, Gillingham, Beccles, Oulton Broad, Haddiscoe, St. Olaves and Belton.
Flooding is expected at Beccles Quay and between Beccles and Ellingham. The flooding is caused by the combined effect of weekend rainfall draining down the river meeting a spring tide progressing up river.
