Police hunt man after Clacton attack

Essex Police have issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to about a serious assault in Clacton which left a man with a fractured jaw and facial injuries.

A 34-year-old man from Barnsley in South Yorkshire is receiving ongoing treatment after being attacked in the toilets of the Liquor Lounge in Marine Parade East in February.

Detective Constable Andy Dodd said: "This was an unprovoked attack which happened just inside the gents toilet at the premises. The victim was punched hard to the right side of his face. The force of the blow threw him against the wall causing swelling to the left side of his face."
