More and more councils in our region are doing their bit to help people with their fuel bills - for example there is a free service which asks people to join a collective bargaining group, then goes straight to energy suppliers to get a better deal.

Energy Secretary talks to ITV News Anglia about collective switching schemes

The Energy Secretary Ed Davey has been speaking to ITV News Anglia about collective switching schemes, which many councils are now using to help people save money on their energy bills.

Using the free schemes people can join a collective bargaining group, who go straight to energy suppliers for a better deal. The average saving is £150 a year.
