The number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance has risen in the East of England in the latest set of unemployment figures. The claimant count total in the region in February was 112,400 which is up by 500 people compared with January.
In the East Midlands the number of people claiming unemployment benefit was 104,600 in February, a fall of 100 since January.
