It's all but official - March has been the coldest on record in the Anglia region. Daytime maximum temperatures have been averaging 5.7C during March 2013. The normal is 10.3C.

With no mild weather due to arrive any time soon it's almost certain that March 2013 will be the coldest since East Anglian records started in 1910. This year will beat the previous coldest March in 1964.
