EasyJet celebrates its first year flying from Southend Airport

EasyJet is celebrating its first year at Southend Airport. The budget airline, which has its headquarters in Luton, now flies to 15 destinations from the Essex airport.

In the past year, its flown more than 700,000 passengers. Anniversary celebrations will be held at the airport throughout the day and staff will be attempting to make a giant paper plane.
