Serious assault in Great Yarmouth

Norfolk Police have charged two men in connection with a serious assault in Great Yarmouth on Friday 29 March.

Police were called to Nelson Road North by paramedics shortly before 11.50pm following reports an altercation.

Officers arrived on scene to find a man had been attacked with a knife, suffering a wound to the chest.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to the James Paget University Hospital before later being transferred to the Norfolk and Norwich where he remains in a stable condition.

Two men were arrested in connection with the incident. Jordan Robson, 21 and of Sackville Close, Yarmouth, and Adam James Taylor, 23 and of Nelson Road North, Yarmouth, have both been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.
