A German lorry driver has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a ten-vehicle crash on the M25 in Essex.
Anton Maizen, 58, from Darmstadt in Germany, was arrested following a collision on the M25 at near Lakeside on Tuesday 2 April.
He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving as well as causing serious injury by dangerous driving and was due to appear before Basildon magistrates court on Thursday.
A 79-year-old man from Ilford was certified dead at the scene of the collision. Five others including a child were taken to hospital.
