Three murders in Peterborough

Police in Cambridgeshire are linking the murders of three men in the Peterborough area. One was found stabbed on Easter Saturday in Newborough and two more were found at nearby Thorney on Wednesday.

Police check for links between Easter murder and discovery of two bodies

A single police car is guarding the entrance to the lonely fen dyke near Thorney where two bodies were found on Wednesday.

Police are treating the deaths as unexplained but have as yet released few other details. It's believed they will be investigating whether there is a link to the killing of 48-year-old Kevin Lee.

Mr Lee was was found in a ditch near Newborough just a few miles from Thorney on Saturday. He had been stabbed to death.

Five people have been arrested in connection with his death and one has appeared in court charged with perverting the course of justice.
