A spiral of violence that has left three men dead in Cambridgeshire and two other people seriously injured in apparently random knife attacks more than a hundred miles apart.
Police are linking the murder of a man whose body was found in a Fenland ditch on Saturday with the killings of two others discovered on Wednesday and with two street stabbings in Hereford on Tuesday.
The latest bodies were found in a dyke close to the village of Thorney near Peterborough. Several arrests have been made.
