A man shot and killed in Luton on Tuesday night has been named as 46-year-old Paul Foster. He was married with children. A post mortem is due to be carried out this afternoon to confirm the cause of his death.
Detectives will continue to investigate his murder, which occurred in Brunel Road just before midnight.
Officers were called to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital just after mid-night after Paul had been taken for treatment to a gunshot wound to his chest. He died at the hospital shortly after.
Officers are still keen to speak to anyone who has information and are still seeking information relating to a white transit style van that was seen in the area and is thought to be connected to the investigation.
