Police are investigating the deaths of two guests at the Down Hall County House Hotel near Bishop's Stortford, after a man and a woman were found underwater at the hotel's swimming pool last night.
Hotel staff and ambulance crews tried to revive them but both were later pronounced dead at the scene.
The hotel is one of the most exclusive venues in Hertfordshire and Essex, and was the location for the wedding of reality TV star Jade Goody and Jack Tweed in 2009.
