Teenage boy seriously injured after roof fall

A Colchester teenager has been seriously injured after he fell 30 feet through the roof of a disused warehouse.

It has been reported that the 17-year-old had been taking part in 'freerunning".

The emergency services were called to the Rowhedge area of Colchester last Friday evening. They found a 17-year-old from the town with serious injuries.

He was flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance.

Essex Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fall.
