Knife-point robbery in Clacton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a knife-point robbery at a playingfield in Clacton.

Two 16-year-old boys were walking through the field, off Knox Road, at about 7.30pm on Tuesday April 30 when they were approached by two men.

The robbers produced knives and demanded that the two boys hand over their mobile phones and cash.

They then left the scene in the direction of Elmden Court , where they were last seen. Neither of the boys, who live in the Clacton area, was injured in the robbery.
