Clubs and bars in Northampton could soon be forced to close earlier, in an attempt to crack down on alcohol-related problems.
The council and police are considering limiting the trading hours by imposing an early morning restriction order. Clubs and bars claim the new measures could make the current situation worse, but police insist action is needed to reduce alcohol-related trouble.
