Renewed appeal to serious collision in Ipswich

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses one week after a serious road traffic collision in Ipswich left a man in hospital.

Emergency services were called shortly before 3:30pm on Wednesday 24 April to the scene of the two-vehicle collision in Shepherd Drive, Ipswich.

A man in his 30s from Ipswich was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with life threatening injuries. He currently remains there in a critical condition.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision.

"We still believe there are some people who may have witnessed the collision who are yet to contact police. It occurred at a time when the area would have been busy with both cars and pedestrians and we want to hear from anyone who may have information that could help our investigation."
