Plans for a new statue in Cambridge released to commemorate the invention of the rules of the football

Plans have been released of a 2 meter high statue that the City Council want to erect on the corner of Parker's Piece in Cambridge.

It would commemorate the invention of the Rules of the Game - which Cambridge claims were invented in the city, over a hundred and fifty years ago.
