Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Tendring where £3500 of goods was stolen. Thieves forced their way into the house in Harts Lane, Ardleigh, by prising open the French doors.

The break-in happened between 8.30am and 5.45pm on Tuesday May 7 when about £250 of damage was caused in gaining entry to the property.

A messy search of the house was made before an Apple Mac book pro, two Samsung galaxy tablets and Nikon DSLR and Vivitar cameras were stolen.
