Man stabbed to death in Bedfordshire

A man has been stabbed to death in Kempston, Bedfordshire.

Police were called to an incident at a house in Vineyard Way last night. A man and woman, both in their 60s, had both suffered stab wounds.

They were taken to Bedford Hospital but the man was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

The victim’s family is being supported by specialist officers. The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit are appleaing for witnesses to come forward.

“We have launched a murder investigation and a team of detectives is now piecing together exactly what happened at the home in Vineyard Way last night. This is obviously an extremely difficult time for the victim’s family but our officers are working with them to establish what happened prior to the stabbing and who may be responsible for this."
