More than 50 vehicles stopped in Great Yarmouth

More than 50 cars were stopped during an operation to target anti-social vehicle use on Great Yarmouth seafront on the evening of Sunday 5 May.

Residents have previously complained about loud music, vehicles remaining stationary but with their engines running and headlights shining into homes, poor driving and the anti-social behaviour of individuals gathered around vehicles.

55 vehicles were stopped with 26 fixed penalty notices issued for a variety of offences.

One person was reported for speeding after being recorded as doing 120mph in a 50mph zone.
