Norwich police raid leads to cannabis conviction

A 20-year-old man has been convicted of drug offences after police raided a home in Norwich last year.

Police seized 178 grams of cannabis, two plants and drug paraphernalia and a man was arrested at the scene in connection with drug possession and production.

The suspect was questioned and later charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, producing a Class B drug and being concerned in making an offer to supply a Class B drug.

William Tucker, of Parmentergate Court, off St John Street, pleaded guilty to all three offences and was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on Monday 13 May.

He was sentenced to six months imprisonment suspended for 18 months, ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work and fined £80.
