A man has been shot in the leg following a road crash in Luton in rush-hour traffic.
The shooting happened on Dunstable Road at the junction with Leicester Road at 8am.
The victim, a 27-year-old Asian man, is in serious condition in hospital.
Bedfordshire Police say witnesses described seeing a collision between the victim’s car and another silver saloon vehicle. As the victim got out of the car to remonstrate he was shot. The offending vehicle was then seen to drive away.
